Verocious Motorsports V-Band Repair Kit, Standard - 1/4"-28 Thread

Use these Verocious Motorsports V-Band Repair Kits to replace or repair stripped or seized bolts on your quick release v-band clamps. Our V-Band repair kits include a 3" T-Bolt, stainless hex nut (mock-up), stainless nylon locking nut (intake use), and a coated alloy steel self locking nut (exhaust use). We highly recommend the use of a high temperature, nickel based, anti-seize during final installation. Before re-using previously used locking nuts, make sure they are still serviceable and retain their locking capability. All of our v-band clamps, flanges, and components are manufactured in a ISO 9001 certified facility.

Note: The first thing you should do before installing any nuts (even the mock-up one) on your v-band bolts is apply a coating of anti-seize which will alleviate any problems with galling. The use of anti-seize will significantly extend your bolt/nuts life-cycle.

Verocious V-Band Clamp Repair Kit Contents:

• (1) 420 stainless steel 3" Long T-Bolt, 1/4"-28 (for 1.5" - 2.75" clamps) or 5/16"-24 (for 3" - 5" clamps) thread
• Mock-Up Nut - 304 stainless steel nut body with no interference, 1/4"-28 (for 1.5" - 2.75" clamps) or 5/16"-24 (for 3" - 5" clamps) thread
• Intake Nut - 304 stainless steel nut body with nylon insert mechanical interference, 1/4"-28 (for 1.5" - 2.75" clamps) or 5/16"-24 (for 3" - 5" clamps) thread
• Exhaust Nut - coated alloy steel nut body with mechanical interference (no polymer insert), 1/4"-28 (for 1.5" - 2.75" clamps) or 5/16"-24 (for 3" - 5" clamps) thread

Verocious V-Band Torque Specs:

• 1/4"-28 hardware - 90 in-lbs (for 1.5" - 2.75" clamps)
• 5/16"-24 hardware - 160 in-lbs (for 3" - 5" clamps)
